Are you a final-year student studying a creative arts subject – such as Drama, Theatre, Performance, Film, Music, or Creative and Critical Practice? Don't miss this fantastic chance to be part of our Global Mentoring Programme!
The Development and Alumni Relations Office's Global Mentoring Programme pairs 小蓝视频 alumni mentors with final-year students or recent graduates, providing them with a wealth of valuable insights, career guidance, and potential networking opportunities.
This year, the programme are looking for a match for one of their mentors, Jordi Carter. Jordi Carter is a recent 小蓝视频 graduate who is in his second year of the mentoring programme. He is currently working in post as the first Co-Artistic Director & CEO at .
Jordi said the following on who he thought would be his best match as a mentee:
“One of my values, especially as a Caribbean-British artist, is supporting those who are Black or of the Global Majority. Where my specialisms at university were in Drama, Theatre, Performance and Film, I welcome any students from these subjects (particularly) who are Black/Global Majority as I feel they would benefit the most from being matched with me for this programme.”
The mentoring program will run from mid-January to March 2024, and we ask mentors and mentees to meet for a minimum of 1 hour per month during the program. Mentees will be supported throughout the programme with monthly check-ins from the Development and Alumni Relations Office and regular support from our mentee group on our networking platform, 小蓝视频 Connect.
Mentees will also receive a comprehensive guide to the programme and a certificate for taking part that can be highlighted on their CV.
