Reminder of support that students can access

As we approach mid-November, it’s a great time to reflect on your progress this semester. This is especially important if you have returned from a period of temporary withdrawal, are repeating the year, or have assessments trailed from last academic year as you will have additional assignments or exams that need your attention.
Academic support
Although teaching ends on December 6th, your tutors will still be available to help you prepare for your assessments, unless they are on annual leave (other than the minimum service days). If you’re unsure about the academic support available in your School or Faculty, feel free to reach out to your Student Experience team.
Student Advice
For ongoing support, you can also contact the Student Advice & Guidance team through . Located in the Student Centre, this team offers guidance to the entire 小蓝视频 student community, helping with both personal and academic challenges.
Student life can be inspiring and rewarding, but it may also feel daunting, confusing, and challenging. Academic pressures can sometimes conflict with other areas of life, the Advice team is here to support and guide you through a wide range of concerns. You can access advice via the The or the , and advice can be provided by email, phone, or in-person or online appointment. The team can help you identify your best next steps with any problem and connect you to relevant internal and external resources.
Disability Advice
If you haven't already flagged any long-term health or wellbeing needs to our , please get in touch before term draws to a close. Whilst the deadline to make exam adjustments for the January Assessment Period has passed, submission adjustments like penalty waivers or deadline extensions can be put in place throughout the year.
Support over the winter break
If you’re planning to stay in Brighton over the winter break, we’ll soon be sharing events and resources designed to support your well-being, even on minimum service days when staffing will be limited.
