Module Outline
This module aims to familiarise students with concepts of organisational management, innovation, and sustainability. Students will develop critical awareness and a deep understanding of effective knowledge management and innovation approaches for business excellence in different organisational contexts. Various topics will be covered in this module, including knowledge and innovation management in different organisational forms, innovation approaches and tools in different contexts, and digital transformation for sustainability. By critically assessing the application of a range of tools, techniques and frameworks across industries, students will be equipped with the capabilities of managing innovations and addressing sustainability across organisations.

Systematically understand the role of knowledge and demonstrate critical awareness of knowledge management and its influence on continuing professional development.
Critically assess the internal and external factors that drive business excellence, innovation outcomes and sustainability in the global economy.
Comprehensively understand innovation management tools and techniques that could be applied to enhance organisational performance and address sustainability challenges.
Critically identify complex organisational challenges and demonstrate independent learning ability to propose novel solutions.
