Useful tip
You can improve the battery life of your phone significantly if you turn off the wi-fi when you're not using it.
If you leave wi-fi on, your phone will be continually looking for available networks and connecting to them whenever it can. This is helpful for those times when you're using the internet because wi-fi is free whereas mobile networks usually charge for internet browsing. However, it does use a lot of energy so you can keep your battery running longer if you turn off wi-fi after you've finished using it.
