As you may have heard, the university recently entered into an agreement with Adobe to provide all Creative Cloud products on every institution computer.
This means you will no longer be required to purchase a VIP subscription for any Adobe Creative Cloud products.
What Happens to existing VIP subscriptions purchased via IT Services?
Any subscriptions purchased via IT Services will expire on the 4th October. Before this date you should do the following on the computer you have installed Adobe CC products:
On Managed Windows Computers
On Managed Mac Computers
This will serialise the installed Adobe products, so you no longer need a username and password to run the software on managed computers.
What if I stored files in Adobe Cloud?
If you have files stored in Adobe Creative Cloud, ensure you have copied these to another location. As you will no longer have access beyond the 4th October.
Adobe storage is not provided as part of the site license. This FAQ provides file storage advice: sussex.ac.uk/its/services/networkandstorage/filestorage
