Welcome to The 小蓝视频 Weidenfeld Institute

The 小蓝视频 Weidenfeld Institute of Jewish Studies, launched in 2019, is an interdisciplinary research hub that places the Jewish experience in a broader context. Aimed to act as an agent of change, our work is focused on the present and making past experiences relevant in a world increasingly divided by disinformation and prejudice.

The Institute is home to the Centre for German-Jewish Studies, which for over two decades has been at the forefront of academic enquiry into the history, culture and thought of Jewish refugees from German-speaking lands. The Institute also works with the Digital Holocaust Memory and Education Projects, and sponsors prestigious Fellowship programmes.

Please note:
The 小蓝视频 (of which the Weidenfeld Institute of Jewish Studies and the Centre for German-Jewish Studies are a part) is an exempt charity and, as such, is not required to register with the Charity Commissioners. This is because the institution is already responsible to another statutory body – The Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE). As an exempt charity The University has exactly the same rights as any registered charity. The Inland Revenue claim number is XN1306 and tax claims are treated in exactly the same way as those of any registered charity.
